Monument, Palmer Lake, and Northern El Paso County
Let's get together and start an Art Studio Tour!
The purpose of this site is to bring together artists from all media, whether painting, sculpture, ceramics, quilting, fiber art, jewelry, stained glass, pastels, carving, drawing, photography, or any other artistic vision, to participate in a tour of open art studios in the Monument, Palmer Lake and Tri-Lakes area in northern El Paso County and northern suburbs of Colorado Springs. This would also include "garage sales" from May through September for those of us who live in subdivisions where storefront businesses are not allowed (this is how it was done in the Arvada Art Studio Tour). We could decide whether to have one or two weekends each year and advertise locally and recruit sponsors to help support this effort. Together we could be awesome!
What do you think?
NOTE: The purpose of this website is to bring together artists to decide when, where, and how to get this effort organized. A website is an effective communication tool in our fast paced lives to stay connected. This website is being donated to get this done quickly! If you are an artist in the northern part of El Paso County, we would like to list you with your email and website links on this website (even if you don't think you can participate right now). This would make visible the large number of talented artists we have working in our community. If space were donated for those of us who for whatever reason could not do a studio tour directly, that would help as well.
If you don't want to be on this website but are interested in helping, we need you! Please contact us with your comments. We would love to hear from you!
Artists would be listed on the artists' page with:
Each artist/artists would be shown on the tour map website page when they are participating in scheduled tour date(s).
Please email:
if you would be interested in being part of an art studio tour or listed with a link on this website.
Your comments are appreciated. The intent of this website is to give local artists a point of contact and a means to advertise our work and promote our studios.
Thanks!
